Island Connections

From Vancouver BC – BC Ferries provide service between Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay Nanaimo, Tsawwassen to Duke Point Nanaimo as well as from Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay on Southern Vancouver Island. Check the BC Ferries website for sailing times.

From Vancouver BC – Island Sea Link will be operating a passenger only ferry between downtown Nanaimo and downtown Vancouver with three planned round trips daily.

Kenmore Air – offers floatplane service harbour-to-harbour from Seattle to Nanaimo (summer only).

Harbour Air – offers daily floatplane service from both downtown Vancouver BC and Vancouver Airport South to Nanaimo Harbour.

West Coast Air / Baxter Air – offers daily floatplane service from Sechelt to Nanaimo harbour as well as from downtown Vancouver and the Vancouver Airport South to Nanaimo.

Seair Seaplanes – offers daily floatplane service between Vancouver International Airport South Terminal and Nanaimo harbour near the Departue Bay Ferry Terminal.
